Our Wedding
April 7th 2006

On the banks of the river Nile in September 2000 I proposed to Rachel and she accepted.
For some reason the actual wedding was put on hold until Rachel surprised me with a fully
arranged package that I knew absolutely nothing about until I arrived at Las Vegas airport!
We had a fabulous time (once I got over the shock) and here are some pics for you to enjoy
Steve is happy to show off his new certificate
Rachel is happy too
Shoe shine at the Luxor hotel
What a smart bunch. Ready for the wedding in the Neffertiti bar at the Luxor (the Egyptian connection very appropriate!)
Our first dance together in the wedding gear - but it was BEFORE the wedding. Who cares!
Ray and Lisa looking cool
The wedding limo, champagne at the ready.
Ray and Lisa, champagne on the go
Kristine and Marc, self portrait
Another lovely couple, they look like newlyweds themselves.
The lovely bride (to be)
Another self portrait from the mad Wotherspoons
Steve looking totally innocent about something, not sure what!
Champagne? Of course, gimme more!
The fountain at the Bellagio Hotel Las Vegas.
Lovely.
Nutters
Mr. Serious meets Mrs Madhouse
Looking good
Beautiful
Steve with Reverend George
Poser
Rachel and Reverend George
So happy to be getting married (at last!)
Kiss me you hunk
Ok then, I will.
It really is a lovely fountain
Rachel doesn't like this photo, but she was out voted.
This is where the actual ceremony took place. It could have been in the limo (?!) but we chose this beautiful scenic spot in front of the magnificent Bellagio fountain display (that started just after the ceremony finished)
Taking vows
Steve is not keen on this picture, makes him look like a Muppet, but it's an important one as we have just been pronounced man and wife.
You may kiss your bride
Newlyweds
Marc, Kristine, Steve, Rachel, Lisa and Ray.
Beautiful ladies
Hunky men
Proposing AFTER the wedding ceremony. It makes a nice picture.
Poor old fart - knees not what they used to be!
Waiting for the superb fountain display
Cheeky boy!
Bellagio fountains.
Smart looking geezer
The name is McBond.
The famous Las Vegas sign. Last stop in the limo. Could have got married here, but glad we chose the Bellagio.
Ask Steve why he decided to stand on his head and even he has no idea. The photographer did admit that it was a first, even in Vegas.
Of course, Rachel had to get in on the act :-)
Day time picture of the balcony where the cermony took place.
Even we couldn't be this tacky!
Stratosphere. This is where we had the wedding meal 800 feet up in the revolving restaurant. Spectacular view.
